THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIVING AND LIVING WELL

Health-E-Newsletter, January 11, 2004

Dear Wellness Members:

Our chiropractic office, Essence of Wellness, has been very active this past year. Over the past year we have moved from Camden to Eaton, changed our name (formerly Camden Chiropractic) and have been busy making improvements to the new office. Many of you have felt the buzz of excitement. Thank you to those who have provided their feedback.

In case you have not heard, we have two new wonderful people that have joined our team. Their names are La Gina and Cindy. La Gina is our new chiropractic assistant and brings with her many years of experience in chiropractic offices. Cindy is an experienced Occupational Therapist (see below for more information) and has co-managed care with Dr. Jane for over a year. We believe you will find that these ladies have chosen to be at Essence of Wellness because they share our passion to help others achieve their heath goals.

As always, we are constantly looking to improve our service to you and welcome any comments or suggestions you may have to offer (you can also email your questions). On that note, many changes are on the way. We have a new website www.essenceofwellness.com that features pictures of the office, many of the services that we have to offer and more. We will continue to serve your nutritional needs but in a greater capacity by providing the ultra high quality and exclusive doctor formulated products by Nutra-Therapeutics

In addition, we will be incorporating more spinal rehab, strengthening, general fitness and workout plans as Dr. Dean finishes up his Ph.D. and integrates more of his time into the office. Cindy Schneider will begin seeing patients on January 20th and will be in the office every Tuesday morning providing an “East meets West” combination of therapies. In the near future we will be offering classes on a variety of topics including: chiropractic, wellness, nutrition, exercise, sports injuries, ergonomics and possibly yoga. We need your feedback as to what type of classes you would like to attend. These classes will be open to the public, so you can invite your friends and family! On a similar note, take advantage of our lending library or ask for cutting-edge research info on a wide variety of health/wellness issues. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll do our best to find out!

There has been a huge increase in the number of children getting checkups! Many of you have asked for more info on children and chiropractic. Please visit the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s website and click on why chiropractic for children to learn why so many children come in for spinal checkups. Our practice is a member of this association.
