Neck pain can lead to postural problems, and reduced head and neck stability
Many muscles of the cervical spine contribute to stabilization and protection of the neck. The authors conclude that regardless of the mechanism underlying delayed activation of neck muscles, these results have significant implications for the development and prescription of therapeutic exercise for patients with neck pain.
At Essence of Wellness, we already implement these exercises. Know someone with neck pain? Invite them to come to one of our upcoming free wellness classes!
